What PromoGrind Is

PromoGrind is an educational calculator application — analogous to a mortgage calculator or tax estimator. It performs arithmetic on numbers you enter. It does not:

Place bets on your behalf
Access sportsbook accounts or APIs
Handle, hold, or transmit money
Provide real-time odds from sportsbooks
Constitute gambling advice, financial advice, or investment advice

Using a calculator to understand the math of a sportsbook promotion is not gambling. Placing the actual bets is gambling, which is why our responsible gambling resources are always present.

Licensing & Jurisdiction

Do we need a gambling license? No. PromoGrind is a software tool, not a gambling operator. Gambling licenses are required to accept wagers and hold customer funds — activities we do not perform. This is consistent with the legal status of comparable tools like ProfitDuel, OddsJam, and DarkHorse Odds, which operate legally as subscription software services in the US.

Sportsbook operators are independently licensed. All sportsbooks we link to (DraftKings, FanDuel, BetMGM, Caesars, bet365, ESPN BET, Fanatics, BetRivers) hold state-issued gaming licenses in each jurisdiction where they operate. Our affiliate links connect users to these independently licensed, regulated platforms.
